If you check out the menus in advance you get an indication of their sustainability practices based on whether they offer Beyond/Impossible burgers. And because I'd stayed at the Woodland Motel before I knew they had sustainable lodging practices and onsite recycling of paper/glass/aluminum/plastics.

I am familiar with the areas so it was easy to make deliberative decisions to only buy from businesses that have excellent sustainability practices.  I even brought home to paper bags and containers for my to-go food to compost.

I purchased two pairs of leggings and 2 pairs of shorts mae of organic cotton from Pact Apparel, which also sends free Goodwill shipping labels to recycle my used clothing and uses sustainable packaging to deliver its products.

I also stayed at the Woodland Motel in Salida, which uses soap/shampoo/conditioner dispensers and has all-products recycling onsite.  In Crested Butte we ate at the Public House, which serves Beyond burgers, uses Method hand soap and Xcelerators instead of paper towels in the restrooms.

I buy from Pact Apparel which a great organic cotton clothing/underwear and offers free shipping labels to send old clothes to Good Will rather than the landfill. Every order tells me how much water I saved with my purchase.

Because I have a garden and the leafy greens are going gangbusters, this is a pretty easy challenge so far.

    I have plastic containers
