July 26 at 1:12 PMI confess I haven't been checking in with my challenge. We were away earlier in the month and I didn't get into the habit. But we did move to an unlined garbage can in the kitchen! I also have been raising my awareness of the pervasive presence of plastics in my life. I keep a cloth bag in the car for shopping... and I use it! I refuse...

July 26 at 12:59 PMI just leaned that one of the Grove Collective from whom I buy cleaning supplies will no longer package them with plastic pillow packs. Less plastic! Hurray!

July 25 at 7:05 AMThe waitress at the diner I eat at every Thursday morning took away our plastic straws today saying "Oh, you all don't use straws." Yah!

July 24 at 3:53 PMReused plastic bags at the green and fish market today. The fish guy smiles every time I bring my teal plastic bag for my fish.

July 23 at 12:37 PMWe are very good at recycling glass and metal but plastic recycling is very complicated-- so many different kinds and not all are recyclable.
