July 24 at 5:14 PMDef the consumer. People like convenience. They want to grab and go. It probably benefits the seller too if they have agreements with plastic companies to use their products and the stores benefit because they are easy to maintain.

July 8 at 12:13 AMTo be honest, haven't really thought about it until now. Seems like pet food and waste are the biggest environmental impacts. Compared to people, the food impacts seems less...but the poop impacts seem more problematic. Putting dog poop in bags and throwing in the garbage seems like a version of baby diapers...

July 8 at 12:09 AMResearch on getting a pooper copper... I talked to my wife about not using poop bags for our dog, Otto, and simply collect and flush it. His poops are generally small and solid, not sticky... But then we did some research to see if flushing was ok. Internet results were mixed. General consensus was that dog poop was ok to flush, but cat poop...
