The challenge wasn't too difficult since I made sure that I had reusable bags in both my car and backpack. I always used to forget bags and just the simple process of always having bags with me made a huge deal.

Honestly, it seems like the bigger cities Portland and Seattle don't message but don't offer plastic straws. Compared with the coast cities, when I was at on vacation where there is no messaging and everything that given out at restaurants is plastic including the straws. While it seems mainstream it doesn't seem to have taken hold as much as I...

I used to pick-up litter on my way to destinations but stopped at some point. I'm glad  started back up again, it really helps give you pride for your community and a sense of belonging.

I got back from a vacation where we spent a lot of time eating out, I noticed it was really tricky to avoid plastic, bar bring drinks with straws unless you ask and than package everything in plastic when you get to go. I might have to do some research on the price difference on plastic vs. non in the restaurant industry I'm curious about the...

Had a successful day, completing all daily challenges picked up recyclables on the way to work, passed on a straw, and chose not to accept a grocery bag.

I have been struggling to check in as much as the last ecochallange, but am still finding that I am thinking a lot more about which products I choose.

We switched to ordering our paper products from Who Gives a Crap. If anyone wants to try them out, we got a $10 coupon code to share; please feel free to use it! Their TP, paper towels, and tissues come with zero plastic packaging, plus are made from either 100% recycled paper or a combination of more sustainable bamboo and sugar cane...

I work hard to reduce plastic but I really wanted to inspire my colleagues to do so as well, plus I need to set a good example being on the sustainability committee and all :)

It's been a little hard to focus on this, but it's really raised my awareness and my level of consciousness about my purchases. I am excited to use up the rest of my shampoo and body wash and transition to bar soap, shampoo and conditioner when I run out!
