Recent updates from this team-
July 14 at 8:40 AMI recently purchased a shampoo bar and a body scrub bar from Lush. No plastic packaging and made with natural, sustainable ingredients.
-
July 14 at 8:36 AMI use mesh bags for produce instead of the plastic ones provided. I buy a lot of produce and in the past month of using the mesh reusable bags I have saved countless plastic bags from going to the landfill.
-
July 13 at 4:07 PMday 2 of having an herb garden and the boys are already reaping the benefits! Pictured here is Baxter :)
-
July 12 at 10:38 AMI've noticed that so much produce is unnecessarily packaged in plastic like lettuce, carrots, and peppers??? I tried shopping at trader joe's and was surprised at how many of their products are wrapped in plastic. Luckily my local safeway has started providing some plastic free options and even better, local produce as well.
-
July 8 at 10:17 AMworking with animals, having access to fresh herbs will provide natural enrichment for them to smell or use in their bedding
-
July 4 at 3:33 PMI bring my lunch in a stainless steel bento box almost every day, as well as bring my reusable water bottle and coffee thermos to work every day.
-
July 1 at 6:17 PMI did 2 actions today, picked up 5 pieces of trash and didn’t buy anything non essential. Starting small and will try to do some of the harder ones later. Happy July everyone and good luck with your eco challenges! 💚
-
June 24 at 8:06 PMCan't wait to start the challenge! I love the idea of starting an herb garden and bonus we can use it for fresh enrichment for our animals! :)
-
June 24 at 5:44 PMI am starting to make my own bread. Not only does it save plastic packaging and money, it also challenges me to try new recipes and to become a better baker!
