Why do you think these produce products started amassing so much plastic packaging? Who is the plastic packaging really serving -- the consumer, the producer, or someone else?
So much of plastic packaging feels outside of our control, particularly when ordering packages from online. Plastic seems to be for convenience or product protection, but sometimes there's so much it feels illogical. Other plastic is within our choice. On a recent grocery store trip I cut out the plastic for my produce and also bought a beverage in a recyclable glass bottle. I also brought my own shopping bags!
I'm excited to participate in this challenge! The Travel challenges under Lifestyle are particularly fitting for any Deloitte practitioners who will be traveling next month.
