REFLECTION QUESTIONPersonal Care Pearly WhitesCurrently most of the packaging for toothpaste is plastic. How can you advocate for more alternatives through your purchasing power and influence in community?
Staci Wong 7/30/2019 9:41 AMI've looked into plastic free toothpaste, and it is really expensive. Although I understand, the price makes it very difficult to switch. I might look into creating my own. Maybe that is more cost effective. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Use Reusable UtensilsHow can you be an advocate for using resusables instead of disposables for the rest of your community? Where are they currently dependent on disposable cutlery, and how can you convince them of the need for change?
Staci Wong 7/23/2019 7:21 AMThis is much easier than I thought it would be. The biggest hurdle is to remember to tell people I don't want flatware when I order and at pick up. It's amazing how many places just automatically give plastic to you. -
Staci Wong 7/07/2019 10:27 PMI'd like to start composting at home, but I'm not sure where to start. Any suggestions from someone who has some experience?
