I have a be prepared attitude and over my life it has been contagious with my friends and family. It's surprising what people notice- sometimes the little things are the most impactful
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Use Reusable Utensils
How can you be an advocate for using resusables instead of disposables for the rest of your community? Where are they currently dependent on disposable cutlery, and how can you convince them of the need for change?

Learning more myself about what our options are and how to influence who are buying
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Lifestyle Travel Toiletries
What is the benefit of using bar soaps or refilling your travel sized containers? Is this an action you think you will keep in your life?

I prefer my own toiletries- with sensitive skin- hotel items don't usually work for me. I also tend to buy big with shampoo- so it's more cost effective to just fill my own reusable containers
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Use Reusables at Work
It is often true that we only have control over our own actions and not the collective community. How can you lead by example when it comes to switching disposables for reusable dishes in your community?

    Brook Wethers 7/16/2019 8:28 AM
I think just talking about it, using social media to share your own experiences- it will become more mainstream the more who do it and talk about it
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Food Use a Reusable Mug / Collapsible Cup
Great job on getting rid of your disposable cup habit! How does it make you feel? What's next on your list to reduce your waste?

  • REFLECTION QUESTION

Ditch the single use products- buy the bag/box and break out your servings- it's more cost effective anyway
