Just had another idea to decrease single-use plastic at grocery store... Im going to reuse the plastic netting my onions came in the next time I purchase individual produce items (instead of putting them in plastic produce bag). I have a shoelace woven through the top (where I had to cut it to get the onions out), so I can tie my peppers/apples/whatever inside & they wont roll around in my cart or van & get smashed. 

Easy to make braided-cloth dog toys from old t-shirts & fleece blankets.
