My guys got new garbage bags made by their grandma, for taking on our hikes and to parks.

I post pictures of any new products that I purchase, especially if it came from a local store, so I know people can easily go out and obtain it themselves. And if they're not worried about plastic, then maybe they will do it to support a local company!

We needed sheets for my boys new big bed, and after  stressing and researching all over, we ended up at west elm, where nothing was packed in plastic, and sheets seam to be made more earth friendly!!
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

I just don't understand some of it. I've bought a few items. like tea, thinking it's in a tin, but then there is packaging inside! Kid snacks is definitely the hardest to get around.

Besides having access to fresh herbs and vegetables, what benefits will you see from growing your own garden?

My kids get so much joy from watching fruit/veggies ripen. They are also learning thing like patients and repercussions if you don’t have them :)

Keeping parks and streets clean means they are more enjoyable for all. We've had many people thank us (my kids and I) for picking up our area.
