REFLECTION QUESTIONPersonal Care Just Say NoDo some research on polystyrene and polyvinyl. How many items in your house already contain these toxins?
Lorelei Elaine Varley 7/10/2019 9:44 AMSeems like almost everything. It really is an eye opening experience -
Lorelei Elaine Varley 7/10/2019 6:54 AMLove the challenge, it really makes grocery shopping more interesting-

REFLECTION QUESTIONCommunity Keep My Community CleanHow does the act of picking up litter connect you more to your community?
Lorelei Elaine Varley 7/08/2019 9:03 AMTaking pride in how nice the neighborhood looks when it is trash free. Get the children to help out. If there is a lot to do we all enjoy a popsicle afterwords. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONPersonal Care Lather UpWhat are the economic and personal benefits of switching to bar soap/shampoo/conditioner or refillable bottle options?
Lorelei Elaine Varley 7/01/2019 9:23 AMWhen grocery shopping, try not to purchase anything in a plastic bottle. It is really a challenge to replace all those items with glass or reusable containers. Many grocery stores will allow you to bring your own container to the Deli. They can weigh and price with the deli paper and then slip it in your container. -
Lorelei Elaine Varley 6/04/2019 2:50 PMIf everyone would make a habit of just 1 or 2 new practices, during Plastic Free July, just think what a difference we could make! -
Lorelei Elaine Varley 6/04/2019 2:41 PMHad a blast with this last year, learned a lot! Hope we can get a few challenges going with other local facilities. -
