    So many products we come into contact with nowadays  are plastic. It is important that we learn the different types, their uses, their effects on the environment, and if they are recyclable or not.     Once you start composting, it's amazing to realize how much food waste can actually be composted and saved from going to a landfill. It is great that Portland offers the option and hopefully many apartments in the city and other cities throughout the country adopt composting.
