I’ve got 2 dogs and a cat. The are hilarious but they shed like they are trying to make out hardwood floors into carpet. The rubber glove trick really helps clean the couch!

It takes a crazy long time for plastic toothbrushes to decompose in a landfill, using a bamboo toothbrush helps eliminate that waste.

Do an inventory of your kitchen to see how many single-use plastics you've used in the past. What are some resuable alternatives to these commonly used products? What would your impact be if you switched all the single-use products from your inventory to reusable?

Single use plastics have become normalized in our society to the point that most people don't see them as a problem. What would you say to a friend, colleague, or family member who may not understand why these disposables are an issue?

    Kelle Thompson's avatar
    Kelle Thompson 7/23/2019 6:43 PM
I would explain to them the harms to the environment that plastic container have, and show them how easy to use wide mouth mason jars are to use and clean.
