Today I went and got fast food for lunch. I forgot to tell them no straws. Not only did they forget my straws they forgot  plastic utensils too. I'm soo grateful!

I have finally started to see in supermarkets paper straws and metal straws. This shows that people are taking a notice to the problems that plastic straws cause. It's nice to see a change.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Use Reusables at Work
It is often true that we only have control over our own actions and not the collective community. How can you lead by example when it comes to switching disposables for reusable dishes in your community?

The only hard part about this one was my morning breakfast. I would instead bring a reusable container with me to put my muffin into get to work instead or a single use plastic bag.

So simple and easy to just throw a metal fork and knife in to my purse. I can't even count how manytimes it has saved me from not using plastic options.
