REFLECTION QUESTIONPets Homemade Pet Food/TreatsDoes making your own pet food seem like a habit you can keep up in the long term? What else can you do to reduce your use of plastic packaging that can come from taking care of your pet's needs?
Malgorzata Tabaka 7/28/2019 2:34 AMI can definitely prepare dog treats and snacks on a regular basis. I cook for my dog for a longer time now but it was pretty unregular. I also rely on dry food as well. I can definitely look for shops where I can buy weighed dry food, instead of buying bags of plastic packaging. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONPersonal Care Pretty oh so PrettyHow can you advocate for the importance of reducing packaging to the rest of your friends, family and larger community?
Malgorzata Tabaka 7/28/2019 2:28 AMBy building awareness, talking about the consequences of our actions and choices, giving suggestions and providing alternative options. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONPersonal Care Dam the FlowDisposable tampons and menstrual pads are often quite expensive. What are the economic and personal benefits of this switch for you?
Malgorzata Tabaka 7/28/2019 2:23 AMOne cup can be used even for a few years so there is no need for a frequent new purchase of this product. It is also a big space saving 😉 -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Cook a Zero-Plastic Waste MealDo an inventory of your kitchen to see how many single-use plastics you've used in the past. What are some resuable alternatives to these commonly used products? What would your impact be if you switched all the single-use products from your inventory to reusable?
Malgorzata Tabaka 7/28/2019 2:19 AMAs I love pasta and rice I used to have too much of plastic coming with his food. I definitely can start buying rice, pasta and lentils in my local eco shop, where I have the option to refill my own containers. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONCommunity Keep My Community CleanHow does the act of picking up litter connect you more to your community?
Malgorzata Tabaka 7/28/2019 2:16 AMSome people in my neighborhood may notice that some of us are picking up litter which I hope will make them join the movement or be more conscious about producing and throwing out litter.
