Mark Swingle 7/28/2019 9:20 AMDancing the days and nights away on top of the mountain at FloydFest, and keeping all my camping mates and new friends away from single-use plastics. I keep hearing " I don't care about plastics", then Lucy says "but Mark does!" And he is in the middle of PFJuly! Maybe we can change the trajectory of this problem, one crazy festival at a time. Cheers-
Allie Hobgood 7/29/2019 9:02 AMIt's so interesting to me how many people don't care about this problem!

Mark Swingle 7/23/2019 8:55 AMOff to a music festival tomorrow in the Virginia mountains and taking my P3 ways with me! No plastic plates, cups or tableware. No single-use plastic bottles. I even bought my Gatorade in powder form so I could mix it in reusable bottles. This single-use plastic free lifestyle is fun and contagious! Cheers Team -
Mark Swingle 7/19/2019 6:46 AMPFJ is really an amazing inspiration to modify your behavior regarding single-use plastics. When you stop to think about the many different ways we interact with plastics each day, it challenges you to seek good alternatives. I really don't need a plastic bag for my Subway sandwich or a plastic lid for my drink, and definitely don't need a plastic straw. In a very short time, these become habits and just part of everyday life. I hope everyone is finding common examples like this to reduce our plastic habits! Cheers Team-
Kathleen Reed 7/22/2019 10:54 AMYes, Mark. I agree that just eliminating plastic just once helps to inspire doing it every time.
