Taylor's actions
Personal Care
Just Say No
I will avoid buying toxic plastics, including polycarbonate, polystyrene and polyvinyl.
Pets
All Natural Pet Toys
I will give my pets natural alternatives to toys like femur bones and antlers, canvas, natural rubber, hemp, rope or cotton toys. Or I will make our own toys from recycled items found in our home!
Food
Skip the Straw
I will keep 10 plastic straw(s) out of the landfill per day by refusing straws or using my own glass/metal straw.
Community
Share My Actions
I will make my environmental actions visible by posting to my social media networks.
Food
Use Reusable Water Bottles
I will use a reusable bottle and stop purchasing bottled water, saving 4 disposable plastic bottle(s) a day.
Food
Use Reusable Containers
I will only use reusable containers instead of single-use plastic storage items (such as plastic wrap, single-use sandwich bags).
Pets
Homemade Pet Food/Treats
I will prepare my own pet food and treats to avoid plastic packaging.

REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Skip the StrawHave you noticed a shift in your community as more messaging about reusable straws becomes mainstream? Cite some examples.
Taylor Saunders 7/03/2019 4:29 AMLast year when asking for no straw I would get strange looks but now it seems to start asking for no straw is a normal thing! Also some places I go to only have paper straws now 😊 -
