My daughter got me started on this and more and more i have become aware of just how much single use plastic are being handed out and tossed right away. I have a kit that i keep in my purse and it is a conversation starter for me to others about single use plastics.

I watched Mission Blue and this focused on Silva Earle an Marine biologist, ocean explorer, author an lecturer.  Watching this showed me that we as a culture do not know enough about the ocean and our lack of care for the ocean is killing species and areas of the ocean. The actions that are being taken are often done after and area has been essentially killed and they are working to reviving that area. I will be skipping seafood as a dinner option.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Skip the Straw

I have seen more ads for reusable straws on my social media. There is a silicon bent straw that I have seen the most.
