I'm most concerned about the planet and environment that we're leaving for our children and grandchildren. I'm a 2nd grade teacher, and a big part of the civics curriculum I focused on this past school year was environmental justice. If my 2nd graders can understand it, and agree with it, why is it so hard for lawmakers and leaders to understand it and agree with it? I just hope my students grow up and take better action once their generation is in charge.
