Helen Pontillo 7/22/2019 10:23 AMInteresting - Found this article that sawdust might potentially be used to make plastic bottles, instead of using petroleum-based plastics: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-07-22/sawdust-might-be-one-answer-to-the-world-s-plastic-problem To sum up, more forest would be planted for sawmills, which suck up CO2; sawmills would be paid for their sawdust; sawdust would be used to make recyclable plastic, limiting CO2 emissions. But of course there's the problem of the influence of Big Oil...
