Adele Philippides 7/31/2019 7:47 AMDid not even realize it was the last day until I saw everyone's feed. I love the challenge but would be better with a support group... otherwise I feel like I'm swimming in a sea of plastic by myself. I did not watch my documentary... but I will this weekend. -
Adele Philippides 7/30/2019 4:43 AMI was picking up trash this weekend and was horrified to find hundreds of these scattered through the woods..... long term project - we need to get amazon and other retailers to quit selling these, and we need to pass legislature against these! They are disseminated so quickly, with the shot of an air gun, and they are impossible to ever clean up. It brought me into depression very quickly. There are biodegradable alternatives, so we don't have to be accused of being anti-gun extremists. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00GJBFQ26/ref=sspa_dk_detail_6?psc=1

Adele Philippides 7/26/2019 7:50 AMWe think of receipts as being made of paper, but they are loaded with BPA and other chemicals and pose a threat to our health and environment. Say no to the receipt or request an electronic one!

Adele Philippides 7/25/2019 5:32 AMThere is a lot of really ICKY trash out there. I usually don't mess with that when going on my walk - it's easy enough to pick up 5 (or 10 or 20) pieces of "clean" trash. But I'm wondering if I should sacrifice a rubber glove to the cause and do a cigarette cleanup.... so many cigarette butts that I don't want to even touch. -
