In what ways is social media an effective tool for sharing your values?

It really allows you to make an impact across to people who are active listeners to what you are saying.  Sometimes when we narrate at zoos and aquariums we aren’t sure how much of what we are saying is being heard do to noise, excitement, interest level and such.  But when we post to our own social media it’s a “captive audience” and they already kind of want to hear what you have to say or they wouldn’t be a friend, right?

It’s not hard to do the challenges.  Most of them are normal every day things I do anyways.  The challenge is remembering to come online and record them.  🥺😲🙄😤

How can you be an advocate for using resusables instead of disposables for the rest of your community? Where are they currently dependent on disposable cutlery, and how can you convince them of the need for change?

Food courts especially are very dependent on disposable utensils.  I recently visited a convention center that had actually made the conversion to composting, recyclable plates and utensils and I actually got information on how they made the conversion so I could pass it on to my local convention center to start.
