REFLECTION QUESTIONCommunity Share My ActionsIn what ways is social media an effective tool for sharing your values?
Kelsey Perrymore 7/02/2019 2:28 PMSocial media reaches so many people outside of my day-to-day life. And because friends retweet or share your post on Facebook it spreads to another circle of people. Social media allows you to introduce others to new ideas and forward ways of thinking that they might not have been open to. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONCommunity Keep My Community CleanHow does the act of picking up litter connect you more to your community?
Kelsey Perrymore 7/02/2019 2:26 PMOnce you pick up trash, you start to notice trash. It's EVERYWHERE! So when you see a a litter-free area you develop a sense of pride about that area and what it says about your community.-
Laura Meyers 7/02/2019 7:19 PMI agree that you develop a sense of pride. I know find it hard to walk past litter.

REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Buy Unpackaged ProduceWhy do you think these produce products started amassing so much plastic packaging? Who is the plastic packaging really serving -- the consumer, the producer, or someone else?
Kelsey Perrymore 7/02/2019 2:23 PMI think it's mainly the consumer. A lot of produce that I see in individually wrapped packaging are pre-cut. It's convenient for people to purchase already sliced bell peppers or whatever because we're either too lazy or too busy to cut our own produce. But it also helps with quantity. Sometimes I don't need an entire bag of baby carrots but will purchase a plastic container of mixed veggies that has just a few sliced carrots in it. It's all about the consumer's convenience. -
