REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Make Your OwnHow do you feel about being more involved in the food preparation process? Joyful, overwhelmed, engaged, empowered? What are the benefits of choosing to process or produce your own food instead of buying it pre-processed?
Morgan Orehek 6/21/2019 7:48 PMI feel overwhelmed. Sometimes I don't think about how much prepackaged food I buy. The biggest advantage to me is reducing plastic use. I also have been trying to do more research on health benefits. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFamily Discover TogetherWhat concerns you the most about how we are affecting the planet? Consider both local and global actions.
Morgan Orehek 6/20/2019 6:55 PMWhat concerns me most is the way our actions are affecting the future of wildlife. In ten years, it is predicted that there will be no tigers in the wild. In less than twenty, Sand Tiger sharks may not exist outside of aquariums. I often imagine walking through the zoo with my kids in fifteen years and saying,
"Yes, I was alive when the lions were still here."
