Plastic free crafting
Kick the disposable plastic and make more eco friendly choices that can sustain my day to day crafting
Pets
Invest in a Pooper-Scooper

Food
Visit the Butcher
I will purchase meats and cheeses from the deli counter or a butcher shop, and use my own containers to do so.
Family
Discover Together
I will spend 20 minutes educating my family on the basics of living a reduced/no-plastic lifestyle.
Personal Care
Pretty oh so Pretty
I will purchase beauty products that are packaged in sustainable packaging.

Food
Use a Reusable Mug / Collapsible Cup

Food
Use Reusable Containers
I will only use reusable containers instead of single-use plastic storage items (such as plastic wrap, single-use sandwich bags).
Personal Care
Back in the Bowl
I will purchase refillable beauty products.
Food
Use Reusable Water Bottles
I will use a reusable bottle and stop purchasing bottled water, saving 2 disposable plastic bottle(s) a day.

-
REFLECTION QUESTIONFoodHow has using your own containers impacted the quality of the food you receive? Does this give you more awareness of where your food comes from as opposed to just grabbing a package of mystery origin cheese/meat?

REFLECTION QUESTIONFoodUsing the links provided, investigate the bottling practices of water corporations. There have been many cases where the water rights of the local people have been violated or even completely disregarded when a corporation decides to bottle water from a particular water source. How can you advocate for those who have been harmed by this bottling process?
Nicole O'Neil 7/15/2019 7:37 PMI think the biggest opportunity to make changes would be on the local level- if you have any of these bottling companies in your county.
