    Why do you think these produce products started amassing so much plastic packaging? Who is the plastic packaging really serving -- the consumer, the producer, or someone else?

    Perhaps it is the desire to put cleanliness over sustainability. But often produce lasts longer if it remains unwashed, protected by the dirt   Maybe some training would help.
