Shelley Murray 7/31/2019 11:33 AMThank you for this challenge. It really got me thinking about how much plastic I use as well as what those around me use. It let me share what I know and helped me to educate others. This brought plastic use to the top of my list. Overall it was enlightening. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Minimize PackagingWith the added mindfulness of reducing your packaging, what have you noticed about the amount and type of single use plastics used for packaging when you shop in the grocery store?
Shelley Murray 7/12/2019 1:00 PMSome stores still use quite a bit of packaging. But I have noticed some brands minimizing their plastic and being more conscious. New Leaf in SC does a great job with this. They also have bins to choose your own amount of products (to put into mason jars) for example. -
