I started recycling about 15 years ago.  My sister and brother-in-law were already doing it and made me realize how important it was for our planet.  I started with just recycling grocery bags and buying reusable bags  and then added water bottles and now I recycle anything that can be recycled or avoid using them.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Buy Unpackaged Produce
Why do you think these produce products started amassing so much plastic packaging? Who is the plastic packaging really serving -- the consumer, the producer, or someone else?

I think it was because the companies are saving money and they were trying to market the products as being easy single servings and easy to grab and go.
