I will keep 5 plastic straw(s) out of the landfill per day by refusing straws or using my own glass/metal straw.

I will only use reusable containers instead of single-use plastic storage items (such as plastic wrap, single-use sandwich bags).
Food

REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Use Reusable ContainersHow can you think outside the box (or bag!) when it comes to disposables?
-
Erica Moreno 7/01/2019 9:13 AMI brought my lunch today in a reusable container -
Erica Moreno 6/27/2019 8:56 AMI started recycling about 15 years ago. My sister and brother-in-law were already doing it and made me realize how important it was for our planet. I started with just recycling grocery bags and buying reusable bags and then added water bottles and now I recycle anything that can be recycled or avoid using them. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Buy Unpackaged ProduceWhy do you think these produce products started amassing so much plastic packaging? Who is the plastic packaging really serving -- the consumer, the producer, or someone else?
Erica Moreno 6/27/2019 8:50 AMI think it was because the companies are saving money and they were trying to market the products as being easy single servings and easy to grab and go.
