    If we don't start reusing and recycling more and making it a local as well as global norm then our children and grandchildren are going to have to deal with more carbon output and less oxygen output.

    Landfills and recycling centers tell us a lot about our communities and purchasing habits. What did you glean from your visit?

    I learned that we have so much waste that gets buried in the landfill that every so often they have to move around where you take and dump your trash. I also learned that there are several recycling places that I did not know about.
