REFLECTION QUESTIONPersonal Care Brusha Brusha BrushaWhat are the benefits of switching to bamboo toothbrushes? How would you implore others in your community to make this switch as well?
Dan Masters 7/17/2019 6:29 PMobvious benefit is that t is less impact on our planet- I wish dental offices would offer these as handouts instead of the plastic ones -
REFLECTION QUESTIONPersonal Care Lather UpWhat are the economic and personal benefits of switching to bar soap/shampoo/conditioner or refillable bottle options?
-
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Plant a GardenBesides having access to fresh herbs and vegetables, what benefits will you see from growing your own garden?
-
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Buy Unpackaged ProduceWhy do you think these produce products started amassing so much plastic packaging? Who is the plastic packaging really serving -- the consumer, the producer, or someone else?
-
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Use Reusable BagsHow difficult was this challenge for you? What made it easy or difficult?
Dan Masters 7/17/2019 6:23 PMthis is more my wifes thing- she keeps the bags in the car and makes sure we use them every single time we grocery shop -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Use Reusables at WorkIt is often true that we only have control over our own actions and not the collective community. How can you lead by example when it comes to switching disposables for reusable dishes in your community?
Dan Masters 7/17/2019 6:17 PMTeaching our children is a good start and educating yourself so you can share with others and another good way to spread the word -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Use a Reusable Mug / Collapsible CupGreat job on getting rid of your disposable cup habit! How does it make you feel? What's next on your list to reduce your waste?
Dan Masters 7/17/2019 6:16 PMI have specific cups for specific drinks, and next up is some reusable straws -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Lobby for ReusablesWhat are some of the cases you could make to an employer for why switching to durable dishes and utensils is actually in their best interest as well?
Dan Masters 7/17/2019 6:14 PMSaving money in the long run- buying dishes, utensils and investing in a dishwasher would equate to the funds spent on disposables in our break room for one year. I've already proposed this and it is under advisement now -
REFLECTION QUESTIONCommunity Volunteer in my CommunityHow does volunteering enhance your community and/or change your relationship with it?
