Angela's actions
Community
Join a Cleanup Effort
I will host or participate in a beach, highway, river, or other cleanup effort in my community.
Personal Care
That Was a Close Shave
I will replace my disposable razors with steel razors. Why not try using hair conditioner instead of shaving foam for that baby smooth feel?
Food
Plant a Garden
I will plant an herb or vegetable garden in my home, workplace, or community garden
Food
Make Your Own
I will try new recipe(s) or food preparation method(s) each day, such as canning, pickling, making yogurt, or baking granola bars or bread.
Participant Feed
Reflection, encouragement, and relationship building are all important aspects of getting a new habit to stick.
Share thoughts, encourage others, and reinforce positive new habits on the Feed.
To get started, share “your why.” Why did you join the challenge and choose the actions you did?

REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Make Your OwnHow do you feel about being more involved in the food preparation process? Joyful, overwhelmed, engaged, empowered? What are the benefits of choosing to process or produce your own food instead of buying it pre-processed?
Angela Marie Payerle 7/10/2019 7:15 PMI prefer making my own food items. Today I made wheat english muffins and stored them in the freezer using a reusable container! -
REFLECTION QUESTIONPersonal Care That Was a Close ShaveWhat have you noticed about the economic and social impact of switching to steel razors? Was there ever really a need for disposable razors, or do you think it was just a way to sell more things?
Angela Marie Payerle 7/07/2019 8:26 PMI switched to a steel razor and noticed there is still some plastic involved. I hope to find a better solution.-
Sandi Phillips 7/08/2019 12:14 PMLast year I switched to a steel razor, too. I believe there is "plastic" decoration on the handle, but the blades themselves, and the durability of the razor will stand up much better. Next, I'm trying to convince Scot to make this change, too!
