That Was a Close Shave

I'm participating in this challenge to help the planet and support the Akron Zoo!
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Make Your Own
How do you feel about being more involved in the food preparation process? Joyful, overwhelmed, engaged, empowered? What are the benefits of choosing to process or produce your own food instead of buying it pre-processed?

I prefer making my own food items. Today I made wheat english muffins and stored them in the freezer using a reusable container!
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Personal Care That Was a Close Shave
What have you noticed about the economic and social impact of switching to steel razors? Was there ever really a need for disposable razors, or do you think it was just a way to sell more things?

I switched to a steel razor and noticed there is still some plastic involved.  I hope to find a better solution.

Last year I switched to a steel razor, too. I believe there is "plastic" decoration on the handle, but the blades themselves, and the durability of the razor will stand up much better. Next, I'm trying to convince Scot to make this change, too!
