REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Skip the StrawHave you noticed a shift in your community as more messaging about reusable straws becomes mainstream? Cite some examples.
Dianna Lydick 7/17/2019 1:51 PMI haven't noticed a huge shift. Last night though I stopped for a protein shake and refused the straw. I was asked why so we talked about the problems with straws and plastic waste. -
Dianna Lydick 7/17/2019 1:27 PMI took a mini vacation and was able to load up and take many of my toiletries in previous containers -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Use Reusable BagsHow difficult was this challenge for you? What made it easy or difficult?
Dianna Lydick 7/04/2019 3:37 PMThe hardest part for me is remembering to take my reusable bags with me. I often forget to put them back in the car. I am trying to have two sets of bags so that I always have reusable options in the car.
I am also stopping the attendants from giving me a bag if I have just a few items and carrying things out of the store when I have forgotten my bags. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Use a Reusable Mug / Collapsible CupGreat job on getting rid of your disposable cup habit! How does it make you feel? What's next on your list to reduce your waste?
Dianna Lydick 7/04/2019 3:34 PMI enjoy having a refillable cup--I find I can drink more fluids that way.
