Jennifer's actions
Lifestyle
Watch a Documentary
I will watch a documentary film about waste with family and friends and talk about what we learned.
Lifestyle
Complete a Waste Audit
I will conduct a waste audit - including recyclables and compost - to understand how much waste I create and where I can reduce the most.
Food
Cook a Zero-Plastic Waste Meal
I will prepare 1 meal(s) at home each day without using any items packaged in single-use plastic.
Personal Care
That Was a Close Shave
I will replace my disposable razors with steel razors. Why not try using hair conditioner instead of shaving foam for that baby smooth feel?
Food
Use Reusable Containers
I will only use reusable containers instead of single-use plastic storage items (such as plastic wrap, single-use sandwich bags).
Community
Keep My Community Clean
I will pick up 5 piece(s) of litter each day.
Personal Care
Just Say No
I will avoid buying toxic plastics, including polycarbonate, polystyrene and polyvinyl.
Food
Minimize Packaging
I will purchase food items with the least amount of packaging.
Participant Feed

Jennifer LeVatte 6/29/2019 5:13 PMI ordered a safety razor online, and I’ve been using it for a few weeks now. I was worried I’d cut myself to ribbons, but so far only one cut when I was rushing! For anyone who is on the fence like I was, I definitely recommend it! It feels nice and heavy in my hand, plus it looks great in my bathroom. -
