Rachel Krost 7/26/2019 5:55 PMToday at the grocery store instead of grabbing a 2lb or 5lb plastic bag of carrots I bought carrots in bulk. Should be a no brainer but I never thought to buy them that way before. Unfortunately I did buy cherries and those came in a plastic bag.-

Rachel Krost 7/16/2019 11:15 PMToday I tried using a paper straw. We went to Jamba Juice in downtown Monterey. They use paper straws. The paper straw didn’t hold up very well in the smoothie. After about 10 minutes it started turning into mush. Had to throw them out and used my stainless steel straws I had brought with me. -
Rachel Krost 7/15/2019 8:35 PMToday I pulled weeds in the area I want to plant my vegetable garden. -
Rachel Krost 7/15/2019 8:25 PMI can easily pick up 4 pieces of trash in the break room at work. Some of my coworkers have trouble getting their trash into the appropriate trash bins (unfortunately). -
Rachel Krost 7/13/2019 11:45 AMI found a new hair color brand to try. It’s called iroiro. They use pouches instead of plastic bottles to package their products. They are reducing their carbon footprint by 70 % since they can pack more products into a shipment versus products packaged in plastic bottles.
