We shop frequently especially for fresh vegetables.  We now bring our used plastic bags for reuse on items that need a bag.  I asked the store if we can bring our own jar for almond butter.  They said they will find the tare weight and we can then fill a glass jar (old almond butter jar) direct  from the machine that grinds the almonds into almond butter.  Eliminating the plastic container.  Also eliminates the step of taking all the almond butter from their container and putting it into a glass jar.
