This has really made a difference in my buying habits.  I do more impulse buying than I realized of sample sized items at the checkout.  That's just a bunch of plastic that isn't needed.

How can you be an advocate for using resusables instead of disposables for the rest of your community? Where are they currently dependent on disposable cutlery, and how can you convince them of the need for change?

Went to Rubios and declined the plastic fork to use my spork in my purse!

I switched out to bar soap in the shower and bathroom sink, will keep changing out others as they are used up!  And I got a bar that smells great too! :)

As the sole person at my residence, I feel comfortable using my bar soap; when hosting guests I still feel the need to put out liquid soap for them. Do you feel this way too? Do you think there is there a real sanitary difference sharing a hand soap bar vs. liquid soap and still using the same towel?

I started keeping a a reusable ‘spork’ (spoon and fork combo) and metal straw in my purse so they are handy when visiting cafes or getting lunch to go.  They are easy to wipe clean until I get home to give them a quick wash.

I replaced Saran Wrap with Bees Wrap, it works great!
