REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Minimize PackagingWith the added mindfulness of reducing your packaging, what have you noticed about the amount and type of single use plastics used for packaging when you shop in the grocery store?
Ryan Kiracofe 7/02/2019 2:53 PMI've found this incredibly difficult moving from Arizona recently, where I had a network of grocery stores/farmers markets/neighbors where I could receive most of my food without packaging. However, the only place within a mile of my current apartment is Trader Joe's, where EVERYTHING is packaged. I've instead begun walking to a grocery store a little over a mile away and taking the bus home.
