REFLECTION QUESTIONPersonal Care Dam the FlowDisposable tampons and menstrual pads are often quite expensive. What are the economic and personal benefits of this switch for you?
Carley Jones 7/01/2019 8:31 AMCost efficient and honestly just easier to deal with! Every month I save money and 10-15 tampons in our landfills -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Advocate For More Food Packaging OptionsSingle use plastics have become normalized in our society to the point that most people don't see them as a problem. What would you say to a friend, colleague, or family member who may not understand why these disposables are an issue?
Carley Jones 7/01/2019 8:30 AMSingle use cutlery is an easy thing to bring up to coworkers. Most of the people I work with get food at the deli or even if they do bring food from home they usually forget or don’t think to bring their own silverware. I’ve brought it up in a gentle, non aggressive way and it’s helped a few of my amazing co workers remember their forks and knives. ☺️ -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Make Your OwnHow do you feel about being more involved in the food preparation process? Joyful, overwhelmed, engaged, empowered? What are the benefits of choosing to process or produce your own food instead of buying it pre-processed?
Carley Jones 7/01/2019 8:27 AMHealthier food is the food you can make at home most of the time! Having 2 go-to recipes I can make every couple of days and store in glass containers keeps me from ordering food to-go at work or on a busy day. Less plastic single use cutlery!
