Last week while at the grocery store I forgot my reusable grocery bags in my trunk so I asked the store not to bag the items and I bagged everything once I got to my car.  Additionally I have also been walking more often to the grocery store instead of driving!

Besides having access to fresh herbs and vegetables, what benefits will you see from growing your own garden?

I typically wrap my vegetables and herbs in plastic at the store.  This would help me avoid that.

The impact from reduced transportation of the food to the store is also a benefit.
