We watched The Story of Microfibers, produced by storyofstuff.org, and learned about the challenges of reducing plastic microfibers shed from synthetic clothing.  Since synthetic fabrics are so ubiquitous, it's difficult for the individual consumer to make a big impact on reducing plastic microfiber pollution.  We need to work together to hold manufacturers responsible for the waste generated by their products.
