Stopped by Costco today and literally almost everything had plastic packaging on it. Even the bananas! Forgot what I went in there to get, left to run the rest of my errands including stopping by a local farm stand where I was able to pick up some fresh produce.

Instead of eating a Popsicle today, cut up some fresh fruit like watermelon or grill some peaches! Tasty (and healthy) alternative than plastic packaged treats!

Reason why everyone should stop using single use plastic bags--- On average we only recycle one plastic bag in every 200 we use. Each year, an estimated 500 billion to 1 trillion plastic bags are consumed worldwide. That comes out to over one million per minute.
