REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Use Reusable UtensilsHow can you be an advocate for using resusables instead of disposables for the rest of your community? Where are they currently dependent on disposable cutlery, and how can you convince them of the need for change?
MARK GOODMAN 7/09/2019 5:28 AMWe use our daily silverware even when we are out. We only use disposable when it is the recyclable type, like they use at a lot of salad places. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Plant a GardenBesides having access to fresh herbs and vegetables, what benefits will you see from growing your own garden?

MARK GOODMAN 7/09/2019 5:25 AMIt's not serving anybody. Unless I'm buying multiple items I just put them in my cart. I do recycle EVERY plastic bag I use. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Skip the StrawHave you noticed a shift in your community as more messaging about reusable straws becomes mainstream? Cite some examples.
MARK GOODMAN 7/09/2019 5:23 AMI have, anytime I'm in a restaurant and the server brings a plastic straw I say no thank you and try to give an "elevator speech" about switching to paper straws. Gayle King on CBS This Morning was called out on using plastic straws and has switched to paper straws and points that out. That helps reach a HUGE audience.
