Barb Gander 7/31/2019 3:01 PMI have been combining my daily activity with my litter pickup action. I hope to continue this action. Next year, I will increase my commitment to 20 pieces! I hope to keep the "only buy what I need" action as part of all my shopping trips. Less impulse buying. -
Barb Gander 7/27/2019 2:24 PMAlmost finished the challenge. I hope I will continue to be conscious of my plastic use. I found it very difficult to buy unpackaged produce for some items. I talked to a representative from Paradise Hill Farm the other day. They supply tomatoes and basil to the Co-op stores. She told me they are aware of their plastic imprint, but are not sure people would pay the extra price for non-plastic alternatives. A good question for local producers. Are we ready to pay more for our produce? -

Barb Gander 7/10/2019 5:52 AMSpent the day at the Stampede so indulged in food that wasn't really needed for health & safety! But I was able to use my own plate & cutlery for most of it. -
Barb Gander 7/02/2019 5:50 PMOn a golf trip & when we shopped for our supper, we bought unpackaged produce & only what we need. My friends are helping with my challenges. -
