REFLECTION QUESTIONPersonal Care Tim Taylor Your Beauty ProductsHomemade makeup is a practice which has been done in community for thousands of centuries as many indigenous women relied on plants for their bright make up. How can you incorporate that sense of community as you embark on a similar pursuit?
Carmela Franco 7/31/2019 7:03 PMI think it would be fun to have makeup parties with friends. We could make our makeup and share between friends...we could all wear the same eye shadow! 😜 -
Carmela Franco 7/31/2019 7:01 PMGreat job, guys! We did help reduce the use of plastics and landfill avoidance. Horray!!! -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Use Reusable UtensilsHow can you be an advocate for using resusables instead of disposables for the rest of your community? Where are they currently dependent on disposable cutlery, and how can you convince them of the need for change?
Carmela Franco 7/30/2019 1:15 PMI think we need to be more conscious about it in our workplace. Have awareness posters and get to the bottom line; advocating bringing your lunch in will remind people to use reusable containers and their own silverware! :) -
Carmela Franco 7/30/2019 1:13 PMOMG! One more day!!!!!! Keep at it, guys! -
REFLECTION QUESTIONPersonal Care Brusha Brusha BrushaWhat are the benefits of switching to bamboo toothbrushes? How would you implore others in your community to make this switch as well?
Carmela Franco 7/29/2019 6:14 AMIt's pretty interesting that the bamboo toothbrush feels just the same as a traditional plastic one. I love that it's a renewable source. Definitely need to switch the whole family to it. Probably posting on social media can help. Even talk to friends and family about it. Stocking stuffers for all!!! haha
