Purchasing food items with the least amount of packaging isn't always easy.  This challenge has caused me to be very conscious of packaging when I purchase.  For example, I am now buying eggs in paper packaging and definitely no plastic or styrofoam!

Using reusable produce bags at the grocery store is easy!  I just need more bags!

My college age daughter purchased re-usable straws!  We are all encouraging each other at home.

With the added mindfulness of reducing your packaging, what have you noticed about the amount and type of single use plastics used for packaging when you shop in the grocery store?

I wish Publix, my local grocery store, carried more bulk produce.  I intend to write Publix a letter.

I purchased re-usable produce bags from Life Unplastic.  I already have tons of re-usable grocery bags but had never purchased or made produce bags.
