My goal is to submit a multiple way to be more eco friendly at the Pearl locationa and have the green team adapt one of them to the office. I also plan on submitting to the RUby zine and have them do a page just for volunteering oppurtunites

If traveling, I will bring my own plastic free items (water bottle, grocery bags, collapsible food containers, utensils, straws, etc.) with me.

I will make my environmental actions visible by posting to my social media networks.

I will conduct a waste audit - including recyclables and compost - to understand how much waste I create and where I can reduce the most.

I will host or participate in a beach, highway, river, or other cleanup effort in my community.

I will pick up 2 piece(s) of litter each day.

I will keep 2 plastic straw(s) out of the landfill per day by refusing straws or using my own glass/metal straw.

I will replace my plastic toothbrush with a bamboo toothbrush.

I will watch a documentary film about waste with family and friends and talk about what we learned.

I will visit rePurpose website, complete the 3-minute plastic consumption calculator, and explore how I can reBalance my annual plastic footprint.

I will volunteer 1 hour(s) in my community.

I will use deodorant either from a bar or a jar or I will make my own.

I will use my own containers when ordering takeout.

I will sign a petition in support of a plastic-related initiative in my state/province.

I will spend 10 minutes educating my family on the basics of living a reduced/no-plastic lifestyle.

I will only pack reusable cutlery, drinkware and tupperware-like containers in my children's lunches to reduce plastic waste.
