I didn’t think it would be so easy and affordable. Just step by step and it becomes easier to talk about to other people too.

It’s been simpler than I thought! Just take an extra minute browsing and I find a better alternative. Sometimes cheaper too!

What are the economic and personal benefits of switching to bar soap/shampoo/conditioner or refillable bottle options?

So I’m working on the shampoo and conditioner bars but I switched to a simple bar of soap and everyone loves it. You don’t have to fight a pump just grab the bar and apply with water. Simplicity.

It’s been hard, but rewarding. Actually using ingredients and making granola or overnight oats vs buying things ready to go. It’s been simpler because it’s less time in the morning to stop and get food. I just prepare the night before and done. Use my mason jar and have a great breakfast to go that also saves money.

    Food Make Your Own
How do you feel about being more involved in the food preparation process? Joyful, overwhelmed, engaged, empowered? What are the benefits of choosing to process or produce your own food instead of buying it pre-processed?

It’s been empowering. I actually know what is in our food. I have found more local sources and even have made new friends working towards making our own food staples.
