What are the economic and personal benefits of switching to bar soap/shampoo/conditioner or refillable bottle options?

I was super excited to find out that Lush makes shampoo and conditioner bars. They even come with reusable tins for storage. This is a brand I love and trust so it made the switch easy. I already use soap bars so check! Very happy to continue to reduce my plastic use this way in the future.

Have you noticed a shift in your community as more messaging about reusable straws becomes mainstream? Cite some examples.

For the most part the restaurants in nyc have switched to compostable or paper straws but last night the restaurant I ate at did not. It was really sad to see.

I ended up buying mesh produce bags because otherwise this would have been super difficult to maintain. I was so excited to go grocery shopping once I got them. It was great!

Great job on getting rid of your disposable cup habit! How does it make you feel? What's next on your list to reduce your waste?

This was awesome because I actually got more coffee and a discount at my local coffee shop.
