It's amazing how little trash you produce when you start refusing plastic and find the alternatives. EVERYTHING has one, so excited to reduce the waste I create over my lifetime.

I fill my Growlers at soda fountains, I get ice tea and its really easy, cheap (large soda price) and waste free!
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Food Advocate For More Food Packaging Options
Single use plastics have become normalized in our society to the point that most people don't see them as a problem. What would you say to a friend, colleague, or family member who may not understand why these disposables are an issue?

Say you accidentally loose 1 in every 1000 pieces of plastic you buy, sound reasonable right?, well that equals 0.1%. If were making billions of tons of plastic for packaging every day, that equates to millions of tons of plastic going into the environment just by an understandable amount of neglect.

What are some of the cases you could make to an employer for why switching to durable dishes and utensils is actually in their best interest as well?

People enjoy working in places that maintain responsible environmental practices. It will boost employee moral.
