REFLECTION QUESTIONFamily Glass Bottle BabyHow can you take your commitment to sustainable living beyond yourself and your family? How can you, personally, work toward broader change?
Catherine Calderwood 7/31/2019 1:43 PMSpreading the message in little ways has been pretty effective. Most people act like my family, respectfully rolling their eyes and jokingly keeping me accountable for every scrap of plastic. But there are some people who really listen. -
Catherine Calderwood 7/31/2019 1:40 PMI've enjoyed this challenge again this year. The biggest change I would like to carry with me is getting better about my plastic bags. I need to stop talking and pay attention! -
REFLECTION QUESTIONLifestyle Travel SmartHow can/did you prepare to be successful in this action? Did you engage in conversation with anyone about your new habit?
Catherine Calderwood 7/31/2019 9:15 AMIt takes a lot more pre thought to make sure everything is ready and clean. My family has been teasing me, kindly, but they've also made a few changes. -
Catherine Calderwood 7/30/2019 1:08 PMI've been failing at the bag thing lately... I get too wrapped up in conversations #extrovertproblems #I'vegottodobetter -
REFLECTION QUESTIONPets Rubber Glove Pet Hair RemovalWe know you want to - tell us about why your pet is so awesome!
Catherine Calderwood 7/30/2019 1:04 PMSo, I have two very fun loving kitties who are working on loving each other. They're both tabbies, so furniture has no chance in my house. Their light hair shows up on dark fabrics and vice-versa. I call Charlie my cat puppy because he sometimes acts more like a dog than a cat. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONCommunity Keep My Community CleanHow does the act of picking up litter connect you more to your community?
Catherine Calderwood 7/30/2019 12:49 PMI keep seeing more things to pick up! It's funny how you don't notice things until you're looking. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Use Reusable BagsHow difficult was this challenge for you? What made it easy or difficult?
Catherine Calderwood 7/16/2019 5:24 PMIT's more difficult when I get into a conversation with the cashier and get distracted. Mostly it's been pretty easy -
Catherine Calderwood 7/10/2019 2:47 PMI got to have a quick PFJ conversation at the grocery store! -
Catherine Calderwood 7/04/2019 5:59 AMI feel like this year is easier than last year. I do wish that I had more options when I'm eating at work... -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFamily Swap the SnacksHow does swapping out prepackaged snacks for fresh fruit or veggies benefit your family?
